Fitness Program
Chalk Up For Burpees
Founding Member
Chalk Up For Burpees (CU4B) 90-Day Program has a mission to aid veterans, first responders, and department personnel in the creation of lifelong health and wellness habits. The 90-Day Program uses the vehicle of fitness to teach the importance of taking care of your body all while reeducating participants on the necessity to also take care of their minds. CU4B understands the incredible task at hand but believes that through structure, support and accountability we will be able to help break down the walls that stand in the way of the participant's success in order for them to have a more fulfilling life.
Resilience Program
Pause First Academy
Pause First works exclusively with those on the front lines: law enforcement, dispatch, fire service, EMS, corrections, military, veterans, healthcare personnel, social workers, and others. We focus on holistic wellness, meaning we address the whole person, taking into account mental, emotional, physical, social, and relational wellbeing.
Healing the soul
The Battle Within
Founding Member
The Battle Within was founded by over 100 veterans, first responders, community leaders, and supporters who believe that every Warrior deserves the opportunity to heal from the traumas they have endured in their service to others. They came together to build a community for Warriors nationwide to attend for free, a five-day program created by Warriors using holistic techniques steeped in ancient Warrior culture and backed by modern evidence-based methods.
Art Programs
Monkey Brain Art
Our Mission is to use art creation, meditation and mindfulness to calm the unsettled minds of Warriors who have PTSD. We currently have an art course (9-weeks, various art mediums covered) and a photography course (4-weeks, basic photography skills). These courses are designed as a follow up to their care after completing treatment for PTSD and to develop tools to help them stay on course with their healing. The course is free to warriors (veterans, first responders, caregivers and nurses).
Our Founders and Warrior Art Instructors have experienced the benefits of the healing practice of art, meditation, and mindfulness to combat the trauma of PTSD. We are honored to walk along this path with our brothers and sisters as they continue their healing journey.
